Photobiomodulation
RED LIGHT THERAPY.
Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light penetrate deep into tissue, triggering cellular repair at the mitochondrial level. The science is real. The results show up in the mirror and in your bloodwork.
660nm
Red light wavelength
Red light at 630–660nm penetrates the skin and superficial tissue, stimulating collagen production, wound healing, and surface-level cellular repair.
850nm
Near-infrared wavelength
Near-infrared at 810–850nm penetrates 2–3cm deep — reaching muscle, joint, and nerve tissue. This is where the deep recovery and anti-inflammatory effects come from.
10min
Effective session length
Unlike most therapies, more is not always better with red light. 10–20 minute sessions at the right distance are optimal. Our panels are calibrated for correct irradiance.
THE BENEFITS
ARE REAL.
Skin Health & Anti-Aging
Red light is the most well-researched non-invasive skin therapy available. Documented increases in collagen production, reduction in fine lines, and improved skin tone with consistent use.
Joint & Muscle Recovery
Near-infrared penetrates deep into tissue to reduce inflammation, accelerate repair, and decrease pain — especially effective for chronic joint issues and post-workout recovery.
Mitochondrial Function
Red and near-infrared light improve mitochondrial efficiency — essentially upgrading your cells' energy production. The downstream effect is more energy, better recovery, and improved cognitive function.
Thyroid & Hormones
Emerging research shows red light directed at thyroid tissue can improve function in hypothyroidism. Near-infrared also supports testosterone production in men.
Mood & Brain Health
Transcranial near-infrared therapy has shown benefits for depression, traumatic brain injury recovery, and cognitive performance in multiple studies.
Sleep Quality
Evening red light (unlike blue light) signals to your circadian system that night is approaching, improving melatonin production and sleep onset.
COMMON QUESTIONS.
Do I need to do anything special to prepare?
Clean, dry skin with no lotion or sunscreen on the area you're treating. Remove clothing from the treatment area — the light needs to reach your skin directly.
How close should I stand to the panel?
We'll set you up at the right distance — typically 6–12 inches for surface benefits, up to 24 inches for whole-body exposure. Don't worry about this on your first visit.
Should I wear eye protection?
We provide eye protection. The light is not harmful at normal exposure, but looking directly at high-power LED panels is uncomfortable and not recommended.
When will I see results?
Skin changes typically show within 4–8 weeks of consistent use. Joint pain and energy improvements are often felt within the first few sessions.
